Broken Key Loop
One of my MK5 keyfobs has snapped off the small key loop on top where it attaches to the keyfob. It's believed to be made of extremely soft metal or plastic. I've drilled the hole and wet-sanded it to make it stronger. But I'm guessing that's not helping.
I've also wrapped the broken portion of the ring with clear tape, but that does not seem to do any good. This is a pity, as I use the tiny split ring to keep my keys in the right place.
